Carefully measured die-powder being mixed into precise hues. Huge machines spitting out millions of little colored pieces. And when its all done, they're shipped out and used by the some of the most famous manufacturers in the world. Those displays you see in department stores that show you what colors are available for each brand of cosmetic? Daret makes them - all of them.
The folks at Daret had two primary goals for the site: 1) Explain what we do, and 2) Make it look beautiful. They supplied us with information and left us to produce brochure-ware befitting a company who's very business is color.
We started with a photo shoot of their primary product line and rounded it out with some original graphic content. Everything fell into place on a clean, white background framed by a modern, soothing green on the edges. We let the colorful nature of their business do the talking and edited the copy to say as much as possible in as few words as necessary. The resulting site is a clean, sophisticated look at a major player in the world of color creation and standards.
